Monday 3rd May 2010.

Sorry for the lack of news, I have decided this year to stop doing didgeridoo workshops and concentrate on taking my photography professionally.

In doing this I have decided to specialise in, on location photography, classic and prestige cars and motorcycles along with planes and boats, and supply these to manufacturers and private owners too.

I also plan to offer photo shoots of track days and the full restoration of classic cars.

I am now blogging on Wordpress at http://soundsandimages.wordpress.com

Tuesday 24th November 2009.

Remarkably busy few months, sorry for the lack of updates.....

I have been taking lots of photos and travelled to Dungeness, Bruges in Belgium and along the Dorset coastline.

I have been interviewed for the award winning BBC Radio Oxford show "Global Echoes" playing the didgeridoo and talking about my workshops and Aboriginal Australia.

I have been writing and recording music, lots of tracks have slipped quietly onto the Sounds page.

The homepage has been updated to included commercial photography, which I seem to be doing more and more of.

There have been a number of didgeridoo workshops and press coverage as far away as telford and I was featured in the Shropshire Star as I was up in Telford doing a workshop with Speight of the Art.

The pupils and staff at Coalbrookdale rimary School were such lovely and welcoming people... Thanks you for having me and making the day so special.

Other recent workshops include, Eton End School in Datchet, Berkshire.

What an exciting year 2009 is is going to be. I am now involved with the Speight Foundation, this is in the memory of the late Mark Speight, the amazing and inspirational artist and TV presenter.

We had a fantastic meeting with Oliver Speight atthe the foundations HQ and I met some amazing people, both personally and creatively.

Thank to all that I met, It was apleasure to be in your company.

Together we can and will give every child their creative worth and right to free expression. I am hoping that I can offer my skills in music and photography to children everywhere.

This country as a whole loves art, but for some reason, seems to not want to give it the honour and worth that it deserves. Lets start getting a balance right and work to bring all forms of art to primary schools and secondary schools alike.

We can make a difference if we all have positivity, rather than saying "We don't have the time" or " We can't afford it". More and more I hear "What difference can we make?", Well none with that attitude, but change everything with the right one!

Also in Sounds-and-images this week.

The website is having some changes made and new photos have been added to the galleries including some from a night photoshoot in fog, while in Stoke-on-Trent. This was a walk around the town in the early hours of the morning. (See Night and Longe Exposures for these)

I have also sold a number of prints to my local tourist information shop. If you have a need for a photographer or need prints to decorate an office, please send me an email with your requirements.

All are available as prints, canvasses and acrylic panels.

I have made a few updates this week to the photography galleries. New galleries have been added to include Topgear live 2008, the static supercar display and Motorsport from the last year.

Also added is the new band and portrait gallery, I will add more examples to this over the next few weeks.

If you need a photographer please email me for details.

Sunday 5th October 2008

On thursday I went out with my camera for the first time in several months and found a Grey Heron trying to eat a huge rat! I managed to get two images before the heron was spooked by a passer by.

The photos are striking because of the two things: The first being that a heron is trying to eat a rat rather than a fish and the second is the size of the rat, about 80% of the herons own body.. What a big mouth!

Well I have managed to get them sent round the national papers and I will add links to their websites on this page as the papers use the images.

So far only The Sun has used them and they were on the front page for 24 hours or so and they can be seen here: www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1769289.ece

I got within 15 feet for those shots and was so stunned that I almost did not get the photos!

Hungry heron and rat.

Ahh, ermm, while I am here I better say that some new tracks have been put in the music player and I have two more that are moving towards completion.

1. And another thing...

2. Hydrogen

3. On edge

4. Out of time

5. the Fortune teller

These are the new tracks that you can find on the sounds player.

I am still working towards the new albums and trying to earn the money to get them done....

So do me a favour and buy a copy of my album, thanks!

Hopefully this means that everyone will be able to hear what music I have been working on.

A new track that I have written is called "Happy Times. This will be used with a photographic slideshow that I hope to have up and running over the weekend.

Lots of snow, has distracted me today and I spent some of the day out walking.

I have tweaked the Homepage this last week and I have also tweaked the My studio page and updated it with some new additions.

I have also had some enquiries for product launch parties, this would be good fun.

Also on the gig front: A six week contract has been confirmed at a School to work alongside a Djembe virtuoso Richard Latham from Rich Rhythms. He and I can be booked to work alongside each other for a Africa meets Australia worlds collide type of musical workshop.
